Summer Buzz Cut!

About a week ago, Scott shows up at my house with a NEW haircut that makes him look like a Big Boy. Momma was cutting Daddy's hair and Scott wanted to look like him so Daddy said, "Momma, lets cut Scott's hair in a buzz for summer." Momma was sad because after she cut his hair, he looked like a "closer to 3 year old" rather than like a baby. It will be great for the summer though and easy to take care of. Scotty, Grandma thinks you look GREAT!

Uh Oh.... The Terrible Two's Have Struck!

So this is our sweet little Scotty in the final stages of a temper tantrum. It all started when he was trying to help make lunch with Mommy. We had Wilhelm (Wes' weiner dog) in "time out" in the kitchen in a circular cage and Scott decided to squish the sides in leaving Willy with no space. Mommy said if Scott did that again he'd have to wait in the living room for his lunch and guess what? He did it again. Gramma (the enforcer) made sure the rule was followed and Scott didn't like it. I put him out and the banging began. When Momma was finished making her lunch she came out into the living room and I thought the banging would stop but by that time, he was so into it, I'm sure he was just mad, mad, MAD and couldn't even remember why he was kicking the gate. It took me a while to even think about videoing it so about 10 minutes had gone by when this footage was shot. Just watch how it all just quietly stops and he walks away in a docile manner.

Getting Ready For Preschool!

I have a baby brother coming to my house in August. I'll be the BIG brother then. Momma and Daddy say it will be time for me to go to Pre-School pretty soon. They tell me it's a really fun place to go and play with other kids and learn things. I can't WAIT! But... I have to be potty trained first. That's what I'm learning how to do right now! I have big boy Pull-Ups and need to tell Momma, Daddy and Grandma when I have to go. That's me sitting on my potty.

If I do a good job, I get 2 rewards. One for having dry underwear and one if I use the potty. I like to get stickers, gummy bears and goldfish crackers for doing a good job.

A trip to Toys "R" Us isn't complete without a ride on the firetruck. But... do you ever get the feeling you're being followed? Mickey is one of Scott's favorite Disney characters. As a matter of fact, if you ask him what he thinks his baby brother should be named he proudly says, "Mickey!"
